Went to Lighthouse Park also known as Atkinson Point in West Vancouver yesterday. There was no sunshine to create any shadows, it was overcast with intermittant rain.

Lighthouse Park

The sun lay dying
planets cold
no todays, or tears.

The sinking sun
clinging to a boat's
oft waved sheen, it speeds.

Creeping out
a sullen orb slides
above taller dwellings, mute.

Coming to the beach
A dog has a playing stick,
leaving for home , left.
Sunset Beach

When something is lost
A shadow of that use
Appears there .

How cool it is!
A light mist, is the rain ,
faint on a brick.

I look at the corner.
but the corner is not
what it seems .

On the surface of the turf green
A focus is smartly drawn.

Everybody was out catching some rays today! Even the best dressed attended . Sun's out.... take your clothes off . Sunshine makes you hungry too! Catch up on your reading ...maybe later.

We took Chloe to Point Grey Beach for a run. Lots of fast moving clouds and sailboats . A detail from an ancient piece of driftwood .

Took a walk in Stanley Park today.....
