I am married to my best friend and we have two beautiful children that are the proof of our love.

They are usually the subject of most of my captures but they are also the reason I love to capture the other details of life.

My goal for our children and theirs and so on is to create a detailed digital log of what life is like now.

I love to see the differences in life from one moment to another and from person to person.

I have always taken odd photos just because it is fun to see peoples face go 'HUH?' and then it is usually followed by an interesting conversation about whatever.

I learned to use my photography to get people to open up and give them something to talk about. In the last year and a half I have taken over 20,000 photos and its the odd ones that always bring up the good conversations.

I have favorite photos but to pick a favorite subject would be impossible. My husband would say it was him but my kids would say the same. And both are right!!!

I am not formally trained, kinda obvious I know, but for what I do it works because my subjects are not trained either. LOL

I do hope to learn to take full advantage of the equipment I use though and time, luck or just trial and error will get me there.

I guess that is why I delay on the DSLR I know I do not have the time to devote to learning to use it well. I do have a feeling it won't be long though I find myself wanting to do more then I can with my faithful Sony.

A couple of underused tripods that I keep losing....how do you lose tripods? LOL
