What a difference a day makes.
I liked the idea of remembering warmer days.It is not as cold here as it is up north but the rain can get old quick. I decided to look up some warmer days myself. These Galveston quick shots while on a walk down the seawall suprised me because of the direct shot to the sun. I never realized the glow on day 2 until today. Now I have a sunny smile on my face. The difference in colors I loved also. I do wish they were a little clearer but it was just a walk and I had no intention of getting any real great shots.
Both were taken about an hour apart on the two different days. Day 1 sunrise gave us anorange glow. But day 2 was a little more of a grey glow. It was nice remembering that trip. Thanks Buccaneer Bruce for the idea.
Bee good and many smiles and clicks,

Just A Few More Eyessss
I make my husbandcross eyed with all the close ups. I just love his long eye lashes though. I think my Chihuahua feels about the same way. My daughter got smart she put up a barricade to keep me away. They must think I am an alien with a lens attached to my eye.Okay so its early and I could not come up with a good story this morning. Hope you enjoy the pics anyways. I know a couple are a little blurry but they were still so cute I had to share.
Thanks for viewing and for all the nice comments on the last few posts.
Smiles and clicks,

Reminders
Enron brought some dark and grey days to Houston. As the last of the Enron snakes were prosecuted and the limelight faded
Houston was left with two very big reminders.
But the city is also reminded daily to look up and remember that there is hope for all.
Collection of Funny Eyes
Bark eyes driving past I actually saw this face in the tree. Candy eye was taken last October at Applebee's. You should have seen the looks we got. Details eye was the photo of my daughters eye that made realize how detailed it really was. The resizing took away from the photo though. What are you lookin' at? is my crazy little Chihuahua that everyone calls Lil' Rat. Red Eye taken for Christmas was a great scrapbook page. Reflections in the eye is my son and he actually sat still long enough to take the photo. Crystal eyes again is my son and his idea taken in Jan. Cold empty eyes is a little older photo taken with my first digital camera. Zinger is one lucky cat. His eyes are actually like that all the time because of an accident a few years ago. He now weighs 18 pounds but the vet said he was not considered overweight because of bone structure and height. Thanks for viewing and sorry so many...it was so hard to pick. There are so many more.
Details Introduction
Passing up details Funny shot for my first post I know. I believe that life really happens in the details of life but alot of people have such busy daily lives, myself included, that they don't notice them anymore. I take as many photos as I possibly can now days because my children are growing so fast and stay so busy that I hardly have a chance to look them in the eyes anymore. A few weeks ago playing around with the kids I took a close up of their eyes and I finally had a chance to see how many beautiful colors there are in their hazel eyes. I started crying because I had never noticed these details before. I know I am a big sap right? But it got me to thinking how important details are in life. The little things that we don't notice until they are pointed out to us,up in our face or they are gone permanently. I don't want to forget the little things because they are what makes up the whole. So why this photo and not one of my childrens eyes because like life this highway has details...little things that make up the whole thing but we never see them because we are traveling so fast they become a blur.
