This Bowl of Fruit pic was taken in my hotel room in Singapore last year. Normally I don't like to get "artistic" with Photoshop, but this shot was slightly out of focus. The watercolor effect masked some of the flaws, but still kept the feel of the shot I wanted.

Last summer while in Shanghai, I shot this picture of a Lotus Blossom. It was in the pond in the Yu Yian Garden, the Garden of Peace and Comfort. The garden is over 400 years old. Weeping willow trees, koi ponds, and beautiful pavilions surround the ponds.

A few years ago, I decided I wanted some adventure. A friend of mine was organizing a trip to Tibet, so I signed up. After a few days in Bangkok, we flew to Bhutan (but those are different stories...) Next we flew to Nepal, and spent a few days in Kathmandu. Our first day was a tour of one of the Durbars (square).

In side a dusty courtyard was this glorious Brass Door . On either side stood a Goddess Left and Goddess Right . You could see where many hands have touched these statues over the years.

The door itself was awe inspiring, and it felt as if once you stepped through it, you would be transported back in time.Closed Latch

I can't decide...

Between Christmas and New Years, we spent a few days in Maui. While taking a few shots of waves, I caught a  Sea Turtle doing some body surfing.

Very cool experience!
