Freeman-Young Christmas Eve

By harriet written 12/24/05 6:26 PM, published 12/24/05 6:26 PM
I'm a Freeman and my son is a Young, thus the title. We always open presents on Christmas Eve. My Mother started the tradition since we always went to my grandfather's on Christmas Day. These are all from today. The kids had to go home to Mom by 3:00 pm. The sadness of divorce. Anyway here are a few pics from Nana's. These are also my theme entry. A child's Popup Linkexcitement. Haley gets a Popup Linksurprise . Stephen (aka) doodle bug seems to struggle with his Popup Linkgift . Although this was intended for Haley, we big kids have to teach it to speak english instead of Popup LinkFurbish . I'm havin fun now ;) I'll try not to teach it bad language. My doodle bug wanted a Popup Linkhoodie and Nana delivered.Elgin is so wonderful with the Popup Linkkids, they love him very much.  Popup LinkDaddy also helps with the screws and wires. What's up with all that? I never had any trouble tearing into mine. Now, it takes "tools" to get into em. It seems Haley is Popup Linkcontemplatingwhat to do with this. I think Elgin likes the Popup LinkFurby too. He called it a butthead and its ears dropped in a very sad expression. My little dogs were not forgotten, they got squeaky Popup Linktoys. Merry Christmas to everyone. Behave yourselves on New Year's or at least have a designated driver.

I did this last night but as I was previewing, somehow I forgot to click submit...oh well, one of those moments I guess. Here's Popup LinkJerome, our taxi driver for the day. He drove us around Ocho Rios and we stopped at a roadside vendor. He grew his own   Popup Linkbananas and some beautiful Popup Linkflower. Further down the road this guy on stilts walked right out in front of usPopup Linkcrazy mon.I didn't know it was so hilly down there, here's a beautiful home on a  Popup Linkhill, and a view from another Popup Linkhill.Another  Popup Linkflower. One of the many  Popup Linkbeaches is called Popup LinkMahogany Beach. We went to Island Village and found Popup LinkBob Marley, and  Popup LinkMargaritaville. After returning to the ship we bid farewell to  Popup LinkJamaica. It was rather cloudy the entire trip but I got one decent  Popup Linksunset. And later that night we found anotherPopup Linktowel animal. The next day we relaxed around the Popup Linkpool deck it was too Popup Linkwindy everywhere else. This was our last little  Popup Linkfriend left by our room steward. There was an automatic door right behind me here and people just had to come in and out alot, so it's kinda out of focus Popup Linknight view. The next morning we left  Popup LinkMiami and I felt like I could walk right out on Popup Linkheaven's floor. We landed in Popup LinkAtlanta and our vacation was over. Aerial shots by Elgin. And one last pic not taken by us, my favorite of all the formal portraits they took.  Popup Linkformal. BusyB, tomorrow I'll have some fall colors from around here for you and all to see.

We finally made it back home yesterday. After massive security checkpoints at the pier, we finally boarded the Popup Linkship. We started to Popup Linkleave Popup LinkMiami. We saw some Wilma  Popup Linkdamage .I saw the sun shining on Popup Linkthis one building. We had to back up and redock because someone already got Popup Linkhurt I think it was just a broken ankle. And we were Popup Linkoff again.Of course Elgin had to check out the Popup Linkcasino .Here's a view of the Popup LinkGrand Atrium inside our ship. And an Popup Linkocean view .We were on our way to eat Popup Linkhere. And oh boy did we eat! The next morning we had a little Popup Linkvisitor for breakfast. There several birds in the dining room. Hmmm, makes me wonder how many birds are picked up outside the USA. That's all for now, I'll share more tomorrow. We went to Grand Cayman and Jamaica.

Popup LinkHeaded Home and Popup LinkElgin I'll turn them in next week and get the results sometime in late Nov.
