Finally ...... An Upload! Still-life challenge
I have been lurking in the shadows enjoying what you all have been up to. I am on the down side as I am tired of snow and shoveling that comes with it. Oh yes and the mud and gray tones. Perfect for black and white. So still life inside and some food shots later I have come up with this one. Ahhhhh! Seafood . Keep up the great works of art.

Hi all I have been lurking on the Fringe, enjoying. Here is my entry for the still-life challenge. I Luv seafood as well as Boojums. Note my Avatar this is a boojum in case you wondered. The boundries are only square so I lost the top with its flowers. It is about 20' tall.

The Narrow Road Taken
I attempted posting this a few hours ago but it has not popped up yet so here I go again. This is for the Shallow DOF Challenge. The Narrow Road Taken Shot with a Canon 50 /1.4 @ 1.4. It was windy and the branches kept moving. Since the lighting was bright I was not so concerned about movement other than my buddy kept moving out of the small zone of focus. This is the final view with a small bit of work done in PS with Mystical Lighting. Hope you enjoy.

Foods of Viet Nam and Mexican Restaurants
I photograph a lot of food for the restaurant customers that I have. The main intention is that it must make mouths water and the mind scream out " I gotta have it now." I never just leave well enough alone and will work on the image until it conveys what it needs to. Bright colors are very important as well as the center of attention must be well focused. Usually after I am done shooting I get to eat something that was just shot and so that the food doesn't go to waste sometimes friends and family members and bus. Associates are invited to help clean the plates.
The photos are used for the customers websites, in menus, or advertising, or sometimes framed and mounted to aide the customers in understanding just what the food should look like when he/she orders it.

How Big Is Green
Have been in the background here for a while. So decided to upload a photo for a change. I travel a bit at times and most of it is in Indiana, my home state. I had the occasion a few months ago to be driving in NW part of state and came upon a really awesome sight, 2 windmill farms. One with like 150+ operational windmills an a few miles further another farm of 90+. IN is very much into alternative energy production. These dudes are really tall and are vertually soundless as they do there thing. It was really weird in that it was very windy and the off-line mills were not spinning. I happened upon this school that was right in the middle of the patch and it looked really unwordly. So here is a view of the school plus enhancements to add to the feeling. Comments welcome Green
