Two weeks at the beach and this is what I get to see at low tide every day. I am teaching my girls to throw the starfish back into the water so they don't die. It's really fun and a good lesson that saving even one starfish makes a difference...to that starfish.

This is the first time I have been away from my 2 daughters. I am at the beach. This is what I found yesterday. There is life when children are not here laughing.

Sprinkler fun

Caught in the action of the sprinkler. I am hoping I uploaded this correctly today. Sorry for the repeat of the photo but it looks better large than as a thumbnail. This is my daughter's adventure at our neighborhood sprinkler park.

What more do you need than a bucket and shovel for the beach? Oh a swimsuit, hat and flipflops are also mandatory. Rest assured, Mama is following right behind trying to juggle the camera along with towels, umbrella, chairs, sunblock and just about everything else you could imagine.

Remember being afraid to run through the sprinkler? Were we afraid to get wet? try something new? be cold? or was it just the unknown? Usually, once we realized it wasn't so scary, it was hard to stop. This is my youngest daughter loving the challenge...

The sky is the limit

Immersed in the clouds The sky is the limit

My daughter is finally at an age to pose for photos. These are especially fun shots because she had already had a full day of school and we were out playing at a pumpkin patch. She jumped onto a tractor and was goofing off. After she got down I saw the sign saying not to climb on the tractor. We were with a group of people and it seems fitting that she would be alone with the sky.
