Also tried to get some shots of the double sundogs but was only able to fit one in at a timesundog today there was quite a bit ofblowing snow. And then this evening I was treated to a nice  sunset Samsonwas very happy to have all that snow to romp around in..

They just seem to hang on here in northern Iowa!I noticed a few still clinging to our asters, one of the more hardy flowers that survived the below freezing temp' of last week..I have had a real hard time chasing after these beautiful creatures because the only time they stay still long enough is when the wind is blowing hard! That can complicate thing's as far as getting clear shots...Only one today..Thanks!! I love nature, even the nature that wreaks havoc on our garden and flower's.Not to mention our shrub's and blackberries in the winter..Popup LinkSamsonhad this little dude caught under our shed and I rescued him and let him go down the road a little way.Was able to snap a couple picture's.He was fighting me so much that I really did not have much time to pay attention to detail but here they are...Hope you enjoy!Popup Link1 Popup Link2
