Just a few shots today as I fall asleep at the computer I am so tired it has been a very busy day!I often go for a walk at sunset it really relaxes me and I thought I would share my walk today with you.It is really something to me how the sky can change fromthis to  this in such a short period of time..And only in Iowa can the roads be  this straight!! I have not used the manual settings on my camera that much but know its time to start and I would really like any tips or info you all might have..Have not had time to take many pics past few days but I wanted to experiment with my manual settings so I went out last evening around dusk and took this pic of an  old fence post.. plumes of smoke from fires in northern canada have been working there way into Iowa over the past few days turning our normally clear skies quite hazy, this made for quite a  smoky sunset this evening. Could not help but snap a few pictures of  Old Glory.. Have a good Forth of July and God bless the   USA

Just a quick post today been very busy the past few days but I thought I would try a bug macro. Well this littleguy did not seem to want his picture taken but who can blame him huh? And when I snapped this pic these guys looked at me like  what are you looking at?? Here is some  milkweed  here in iowa people want to get rid of it but I love it has a very nice scent and it is very important  the monarch butterfly. Well anyway thats that hope you enjoy thanks!

Hi everybody! Went fishing last night and snapped some pics of the sunset 1 2 3 4                 We got some much neededrain yesterday which means puddles! I think my family thought I was crazy taking pictues the reflection in them but hey why not huh? And I can't resist posting a few more water pics, I promise this is the last of them!!!
