Long time no write.. sorry guys... haven't felt inspired. My nephew went to the park with me on Friday. We had fun at the park going down the slide and running around looking at all the dogs.

Just
So... my life. My camera is now with my dad wherever he might be traveling. Saturday one of my good friends got into a car accident... very traumatizing for me.. so I haven't been able to give photographica the time I had been...Since my camera is gone I thought you might be interested in seeing some shots my boyfriend got with his lomo before I fixed mine. I'm currently in the process of finishing some rolls of film thanks to cmcnaught :)
And a bonus shot of my own..
I lose my camera for all of next week, so I'm trying to cope by getting a lot of photos these last few days... Enjoy :)

As for my 3 all-time favorites..
In my dreams I see you at the foot of some mountains.
I've become just like a terrible mess,
Searching the lines in my face for
Something more beautiful than is there.
The crowds keep me coming back, cheering..
And it just feels good when you're waking up.
And it just feels good when you're next to me.
And it just feels good when you're
coming home.
I'm not a failure, I swear.
I wish you could see it from
over there.
I've got a lot over here
without you.
Well guys, I don't know about you, but that last challenge ended really quickly for me! I was shocked when I came on today and it was already over. Thank you Jayhuff for a really challenging [at least for me] bi-weekly challenge, and for passing the torch to me.I thought long and hard about what I want this challenge to be. I wanted to pick something that would be a challenge for myself as well as the rest of you. So after two weeks of contemplation, I decided that I want to see some emotion.
So this weeks challenge will be to capture moments that have some sort of raw emotion in them. Whether the subjects are caught in an emotional state, or the scene just sparked some emotion inside of you. Love, anger, happiness, depression,
excitement, hope, longing, any sentiment goes. But if it is a photo that made you emotional, please give us a little explanation.
Example:
This shot is really sentimental to me because running has always been an outlet in my life. I took this when I felt like I just needed to get away from my life for a moment, and I think it shows in the shot.
Of course, please don't feel confined to my example. The sky's the limit here, folks. You may submit old shots, but I'd mostly like to see new ones :)
I will be passing the torch to... [drum roll please]...
BOJOLEE!
Happy hunting everyone!
I just want to apologize to everyone... this week was a horrible week for me to have to extend a challenge out to everyone. I feel like I should be giving everyone the feedback they deserve [and trust me, your guys' entries have been awesome!] but I've been so darn busy with school and finals and tests and homework that I haven't had time to tell you guys what I feel about your photos...I'm just saying ahead of time that I really appreciate the efforts everyone is putting into the challenge, and no matter how many pages back I have to travel I will get my input on all of your shots. I PROMISE!
So on a day that I wasn't too busy, I did happen to take the broken lomos apart in hopes of fixing them. I think I have both of them fixed, after 2 hours of screwdriver work [and being fascinated with the build of the lens, te he he he].. The pictures I took of the camera aren't anything special at all. The big reason for my story is to apologize for not giving you quick feedback... Also since my camera will be traveling with my dad to Denver soon... no pictures from me for a while [but to be honest I don't think I even have the time]. So I'm sure I'm rambling by now...
Food:
I'm missing a bone in my left thumb, so it's smaller than the other. No freak accident, it's just been like that since before I can remember. Also, I got a stranger shot [if you can even call it that, har har].. It's a little boy with some
ducks.. I hope it's okay that I didn't ask his permission for the shot... his little hand just shot in when I was clicking.
