Challenge: Bi-Weekly Challenge: Cookin' Up Trouble
As a kid, the kitchen is where our family sat each night to discuss our day. It was where my Aunt and Grandmother taught me how to fix everything from cake to potato chip sandwiches. It's the place where as a young adult, I kept cold condiments (because I rarely had money to buy actual food), beer and other essentials. As an adult, it's where I make HUGE messes, trying to recreate the foods I took for granted as a kid. So whether you play games, eat huge meals, or your kitchen is just the place where you keep your paper plates and bills, you can find plenty of models, still life and action shots in this one little room. Feel free to include your deck or backyard if you are an avid griller. Keep in mind the rules: 1) Pictures must be taken between 8/29/10-9/11/10. 2) Keep it clean; watch your background clutter, lighting/shadows and focus....could you see this picture used as clip art or in a magazine article...try to steer clear of "snapshots" and look for interesting angles and focal points.
So whether you are hosting dinner parties, serving dinner, helping the kids with homework, playing cards or cleaning up spilled milk....show us what's cooking in your kitchen.

Stuck in the Middle with You
Note: If you are vain...don't use a macro lens and take photos of yourself. Pores! Nose Hairs! Blemishes! Discoloration! YIKES!!! Luckily, with the control of light and a little help of guassian blur I saved you all from the nightmares you may have had!
Bonus shot...I thought the mountains were pretty.
