Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement re my myelogram... I had a blast!!
Beautiful weather in the 70's. Took Hubby and Bella the Labradoodle for a walk in the woods.Feel fortunate to be able to walk a bit.. tomorrow myelogram and probably soon more spinal fusion. Needless to say had a great time leaving cares and woes behind.
These were taken up in the vineyards along the Rhine River with nothing more than a veritable cart path to take you there.
Have been busy doing custom cards for folks..for the first one, I only had a lousy print taken from quite some distance therefore its a bit soft, but it seems to work in a card format...Max 1 and max 2 The next pooch's shots were done by me and have more detail etc etc...dog 1 and dog 2 I don't consider any of this serious photography, but I sure had fun!

wilted dahlia wilted dahlia #2 red leaf I couldn't decide which of the next 2 I liked best, so..you choose leaf 1 or leaf #2 ( Candice I tried shooting the leaves with aperature wide open, does make a difference..thanks for sharing!)
I have so much to be thankful for: not having to spend the winter in the water geese, didn't get wet in this storm and finally reflecting that if my mother had never crossed the Atlantic many years ago, I would not be here. Have to fess up here, did not take that last shot.
While we were in Poland, my brother in law developed acute appendicitis and had to have emergency surgery...spent a worrisome day wandering through this quaint town..cost of surgery and 5 days hospital stay was $300..weirdest part was, my mother had an appendectomy in this same hospital in 1935. inside church original red umbrella street
