First the rambler shot. Ilford Delta 1600. Glow added.Popup Link Now that that is out of the way............. Went out early Sunday morning to get some shots before the snow fell of the trees. Loaded the camera with Kodak TCN400, screwed on a Y2 yellow filter and headed out the door. First shot was before I even got outside. A window in the hall of our 3 decker.Popup Link Headed out to the reservoir and this is what I got. Into The Distance. Popup Link This shot you can see my skidmarks as I jacked on the brakes when this caught my eye. I backed up and this is what made me stop. Why I dont really know .Popup Link This shot I drive by all the time.Popup Link And finally the shot I liked the most of the bunch "Old Stone Church"(It looks much better larger.IMHO) Popup Link All shots sent through Photoshop. Nothing major done to them other then levels tweeks and slight crops if any. Old Stone Church had deep glow and grain added. Having shot alot in snow I added +1 stop IE and left it there. Usually used matrix metering unless I know the meter would be fooled then I spot metered the shadows. All comments welcome.

Today I learned that the equipment used to scan your negatives makes a HUGE difference. Anyhooo.... First shot is a weather beaten fire fighters coat left at the site where 7 Worcester fire fighters tagically died trying to save 2 homesless people who had set the fire and then had ran off. Popup Link. The sight has since been cleaned up and a proper memorial is going to be erected in a local park. The second shot is a photographer at a wedding doing what wedding photographers do......herd cats. (Note: Taken at a good friends wedding who herself is a photographer who when asked to raise her chin said, "Ya I know, hide that extra chin." Talk about pressure.)Popup Link And last but not least, the obligitory Rambler shot but abstract.Popup Link. All shot with Sigma SA-9. Run through Photoshop. Background blurred and foreground slightly spherized in Wedding Photog, T-MAX 400. Super shot with Ilford 1600. F.F. Coat shot on Ilford Delta 100. Diffused Glow added in photoshop. Levels tweeked in all shots. Comments welcome.

First, Iron Jesus a shot I took a few years ago. Olympus OM-G Kodak T-MAX 100. Popup Link Next two I just got the negs scanned to a CD at Ritz. Last time they did an excellent job, this time they didnt do a good job. Low resolution, full of noise, with patches of color where there shouldnt be any considering the negs were all mono. I called and they said they will correct the mistake. I decided to mess with a few to see what I could do. These shots have been heavily Photoshopped. DOF added, levels adjusted, sharpened, despeckeled, kitchen sink thrown in. The first is my wife at a friends wedding, Popup Link and a headstone Popup Link. Both Sigma SA-9, Kodak T-MAX 100. Comments welcome.

A shot of a 1959 Rambler I am working on for my father in law. He has four of them. Ilford Delta Sigma SA-9Popup Link Rocks lower left darkend in Photoshop. Another bed shot that I like for some odd reason. I wish it were a tad sharper though. Kodak TCN400 Sigma SA-9.Popup Link This sled I am working on for my mother in law. I know the film was 1600 ISO but I am not sure of the brand. Probably Ilford. Sigma SA-9Popup Link. I cloned out a patch of snow in the lower right in Photoshop because it was too distracting. Comments welcome.

Two shots I have been kicking around a bit. The first onePopup Link I took a few years ago. I got some great advice to keep it more focused. One problem I had was that the sky was washed out so I added a bluer clouded sky from another shot to it in Photoshop. I had a test print done but the sky still came out to light. The second one Popup Link is a shot of a old horse/ ox drawn farm implement that no one can figure out what it was for. Even the farmer who owns the land said its been there forever and he still has no clue what it was for. The sky and treeline in the shot are too dull and blah for me. I am still trying to figure out what I wanna do with it. Test print came out ok. First shot was taken with Fuji Reala 100/ Vivitar V3800N. Second shot Kodak UC 100 /Sigma SA-9.
