So this weekend, there was a free music festival going on in the downtown area in San Antonio, where I live. I absolutely love being downtown, where there are great churches,005,006 in a square park right smack dab in the middle of downtown, with tons of talented musicians, all in all it was a nice, relaxing day full of music, food, and people watching.

A stray that my grandma took in a few years back loves to relax with the rest of us on the porch. 017 016 008 Summertime at the lake can be a pretty layback. But one of my favorite times of the day, is of course dusk!

I was so inspired after buying a bunch of colorful fruit at Sun Harvest and saw how beautiful it all was together.000_0048 Then, I sliced some starfruit and layed it atop some sectioned grapefruit for a tasty snack.000_0053

My first day back to school was cancelled due to freezing temperatures that brought lots of ice and these.icy day1 icy day2 icyday3

About early December to mid December, we get in the spirit by decorating out home with our favortie things,my dad made a wooden nativity set100_0447  and we set it by the fireplace, which doesn't really become a hazard because its really not cold enough to make one anyway. We also adore poinsettas100_0448  and we also put those near our mantle. Christmas is a time for food family and friends which is why I look forward to the season each year. Happy Holidays everyone!

Last spring my family and I went to Arizona for spring break. We spent some time hiking in different parts. We saw tons of seguaro cactiseguaro over hiking trail all over those beautiful landscapes. One day we drove to Sedona,ended up finding out about a place  not too far from there.We went down curving roads into the still slightly snow capped mountains and stopped at a site near a bridge for a nice little restriver under bridgebefore traveling back down the mountain to look at and buy native american jewelry. I bought a sweet turqoise and silver butterfly necklace.The trip was refreshing overall.

Last summer my family and I went on a vacation a few hours away in Corpus Christi. We made sure to stop at the Texas  State Aquarium to see the dolphins100_0032 , my favorite. Also my dad and I shared soft and pillowy sunrise000_0006 . Back home in San Antonio, we love to visit the great old missions000_0034 . Enjoy, I hope this one worked out, its my first time posting
