Stranger??

This is an old picture but, wanted to share anyway. This is just about the most interesting character I've met.
Jackson Square in 'old' New Orleans. I used to go every year, to the NO Jazz Fest. I have to say the best Jazz Fest ever. (I've seen the poster for this year it's fabulous)
Anyway, saw this dude preforming in the square my first year there. He is actually on the side line and jamming with a band that is performing. Kind of lurking I guess.
Every year that I've been back he has been at the festival and groovin' to the tunes. He's a happy guy and just adds to the already quixotic ambiance of the Festival and city.

A Torn ACL????

We had the surgery on Tuesday and came home last night. Loaded with tranquilizers and pain meds she is in for 12 - 18 weeks of recovery. (READ: limited activity. . . . Mom. . . Hold me back) Ughhh I have my hands full but, the doctor says she'll be back to her old self in no time. Hah, easy for him to say Ya know, they sure did shave her a lot!
Wish me luck and patience. . .

Wouldn't have gotten this one if the setting on the camera wasn't on burst-3. The first two were pretty blurry.
Missing Spring Flowers

With that said, my backyard is barren - I still miss my flowers. So here are a few from last spring. They cheered me up, I hope they help with the winter blues. . . . .
Flower 1
My Dinner Plate Rose huge flower
The next two take forever to bloom and are so delecate (HEAVY bloom)that a strong wind or "canyon critter" could destroy the whole show. And then they only stay around for a couple of days and then start to fade. I've gone away for the weekend and missed the whole year's show before. So it's always a treat to see them and enjoy.
Yellow

Fortunately in San Diego, Fushia these are pretty much around all the time. Flowers are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. I hope you enjoy. . . .
A recent trip to San Francisco

the obligatory shot of the bridge. . .Foggy Bridge
Deleting photos from my profile?

Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Linda
Here kitty, kitty

I have looked around the house and have so far, been unable to find any treasures from my childhood, I know I have them somewhere, I'm a committed pack rat. They're probably in a box somewhere, I guess I'll have to skip the Childhood Treasures challenge. However, I sure have enjoyed all the wonderful posts, it was a great theme.
Last night

Cool Night I haven't had time to play with it or crop but, it did cure my fix for some shooting and fresh air.
Here is one I took last year about the same time in January from CoronadoCoronado view. I'm really having a hard time getting a work flow going and getting the right pictures, in the right size and KEYWORD, coordinated! I guess practice makes perfect.
Sam-n-Sara Just wonderful critters I thought I'd share......... until next time, stay dry.
First Post

I hope this post turns out okay, I'm going on faith here. I think this is a fun site-- I have been "lurking" for about a year and just subscribed today.
P.S. How do I get rid of the "DESCRIPTION HERE"?
