  • Biography

     I grew up in a typical suburb, in a family of six kids. I battled depression most of my life, so my escape was to go where there was some nature.  To parks, or find a river/creek bed and just think or talk to God.  That's where my faith and love for nature came in I guess.  I love God and nature.  And I no longer suffer the symptoms of depression.  My way of thanking God is to capture His beauty on film and share it with others who might appreciate it and enjoy it.  Hopefully it can give to someone else the same peaceful comfort it gives me.

  • Artist's Statement

    I 'm the free spirit of the family I guess.  I love everything spiritual, natural, and educational.  My intersts are so varied that I can't even keep up with them myself.  The only one that rivals me in complex personalities is my husband, which is why we're the best of friends.  Nature offers so much beauty to enjoy and it is forever changing not to mention disappearing.  So, since it's not ours to possess, I get the next best thing.  The opportunity to possess it forever on film.  I'm amatuer all the way and yet,  once in a while, God lets me know I have some talent and what joy He gives to me,  I share it with others..  I will forever give thanks and be in awe of God's wonderful creations.  I hope you will to.
