Jamming in Tennessee

By lsundeen written 10/15/06 10:52 AM, published 10/15/06 10:52 AM

The Marshall Tucker Band put on a free concert here in Columbia, Tennessee this past week.  I was fortunate enough to be up close to get some great photographs, as well as enjoy the awesome music!  Here are a couple of my favorites . . .

Beauty amongst the ruins

These are shots from a local cemetary here in Columbia, TN.  The gravestones are dated in the 1800's, making them over one hundred years old, which is obvious by the condition of the headstones. Forever Entwined

By lsundeen written 8/13/06 11:08 AM, published 8/13/06 11:08 AM
While exploring the back roads of Tennessee, I have discovered the trees and woodlands in this area are some of the most unique and unusual I've ever seen.  Forever entwined, this tree seen on the original Natchez Trace seems to be evidence of two souls forever joined as one, shared is their mutual struggle to overcome the obstacles of celebrating their love, not achieved in their human life, but immortilized by mother nature in the isolated beauty of the Tennessee wilderness.
