Well it has been a while, but I had a couple of photos that I wanted to see what others thought about.  They have both been through PS some.... well ok a lot, but they are the last ones that I have taken with the Fuji S5100, and I have just picked up my new Canon XTi.  Anyway, you all saw my first with the Fuji, so I thought it was fitting you get to see the last ones.  Both are the same photo, the first one Brandon 07 is of my nephew, and the second one is with his name added Brandon 07 with name.  Hope to see you all around more since I have something to get my intrest going again.  SeeYa!

While on vacation had a chance to go white water rafting on the Reo Grand in New mexico.  This first photo was on the way to the rafting areaPopup LinkReo Grand.  The 2nd one is the same photo that I played with a little, the wife does not like it, what do you think?  Popup LinkReo Grand edit.  The next shot is of our group as we were getting ready to head down river.  I was taken with a waterproof disposable  Popup LinkGroup.  That is my wife (with the sunglasses), her cousin, my yougest son, and myself.  The next one was taken from the shore by another family member while we were going through some small rapids.  It was taken with a instant camera, so the quality is not the best, but it was still fun.  Popup LinkRapids.

The family and I went to New Mexico last week for a family reunion and vacation, and we did a little site seeing.  We went and visited Bandelier National Park which is about 50 miles from Santa Fe.  Just before we got into the park you can see Popup Linkcliff from a distance.  After a little drive down into the canyon, you can see the  Popup Linkcliff a little closer.  As we walked up the trail you can start to see some of the cliff dwellings that were used in the 14th century. Popup Linkcliff dwellings.Popup Linkdwellings closer.  They did have a couple of areas that you could climb ladders and go inside some of the dwellings.  This is a photo of my neice, nephew and sister in law going up into one of them Popup Linkentering.  And one that my wife took of my youngest boy and I inside the dwelling Popup Linkin side. When we were walking to the next area, we passed some of the local plant life,Popup Linkcactus.  This is the 2nd area that we could go into.  It is 140ft above the canyon floor, it is an area that was used for religious needs, according to the information at the park.  We were told that a person had to climb up the face of the cliff using holes that were cut into the face.  They have since put in some stairs of sorts, and ladders to allow a person to climb. Popup Linkladder.  After you get to the top, there is a large hole in the floor of the cave area that was used for the high priest to do whatever it was that he did Popup Linkcave area.  As you can see in the photo, there is an area to go down into the hole in the floor.  This is a view down the canyon from the cave area. Popup Linkview from above. After comming down from the cliff dwellings, you can find some very green areas in the canyon.  This is a foot bridge that crosses the creek in the bottoms   Popup Linkfoot bridge.  Hope everyone likes these photos.  I have more from the trip, but I thought this was enough for now.  Tomarrow....white water rafting on the Reo Grand.  Until then...SeeYa!!

Well I guess you all could be getting tired of my pictures of the area minor league team and there high dollar big league rehab visitors, but I have not much time with work to do anything, and I just make the time to go to the games here.  Anyway....we were luck to have another pitcher in our area on memorial day, and that would be Mark Prior.  We had pretty good seats, and I thought this photo was not to bad.  What do you think?Popup LinkMark Prior
