Tree trimming time!  We put our Christmas tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving.  It was fun, my son Karter was not old enough to help last year so he had a blast year.Karter's Touch The other kids had fun too.Smiling Rachel

P.S. I took the angel portraits on the couch.  I love this time of the year.  

I was sitting in my living room and noticed the sun had come out from behind the clouds.  The first time in 3 days, so I grabbed up the kids and loaded them in the Jeep and went searching for the perfect place to take pictures of the sunset.  I took all these photos out the window of the car and within about a mile from my house.  I hope you enjoy them.

I wanted to post some of the photos I took yesterday.  My threekids had so much fun.  We played hide and  seek  behind the trees, rode a pony and hiked a little on some beautiful trails .  

     I felt sorry for this lonely stump in the water but the colors were really cool.

     This family let me take there pictures at a local apple orchard close to my house.  There is nothing like fall football in Indiana!Colts  Everyone in the family was very photogenic.  This was my favorite Enjoy!

Seems like fall reminds everyone to get family pictures done.  I have been busy with preschools and fund raisers.  The leaves are finally getting ready to change.  I found this huge pumpkin  to take the kids pictures in.  It weighed a ton.

Yesterday I went to the Indianapolis Zoo and when I got home to post some of my pictures I saw the new theme and thought several would fit.

My mom and dad went on vacation to Michigan to see lighthouses.  I couldn't tell you were all these are located except that they are all on Lake Michigan.  I did get permission to post them from my parents.  Now you all know where I got my photography passion.  They would love comments and I am hoping that my dad will post some of the film pics that he took, they are outstanding.

Thank you so much for all the feedback on the avatar.  While Jimmy tweeked the flower one, it really made my choice harder to make.  I love them all.  I also had an overwhelming response to the photo, so I thought I would post some of the photos I have been working on in the last week.  Hope you like them.

A big thanks goes to Jimmy.  He created my new avatar.  Its just beautiful.  I took the photo for a customer last week and I feel in love with it.  In my small knowlegde of the computer world I asked Jimmy to creat me an image that would fit into my avatar... I went to an Indians game this week and my favorite shot was of the Moon rising up between the skyline of Indianapolis. I got some fair ones of the gameStrike     Pitcher  However the moon was still my Favorite..

I am going to break the rules a little bit...My travelogue is about 14 miles from my house...The Indianapolis Raceway Park.  I was lucky enough to get to go to the Busch Race last night.  Started with quailificationsReady, set, go .  Then the driver needed to report to theirCars Here I was able to get up right next to the fence and got some good pictures of some of the drivers  Martin Truex Jr. ,Clint Bowyer and this is Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart talking befor the race.  Kevin actually owens the car Tony was driving that night.  Kevin and Tony laughing befor the race started.  But it started to rain.  We had almost a 2 hour  Rain delay Then the sun came out for a little bit before it went to rest behind the trees.  Getting ready for the restart.Back to the green and the race was really intense for the next 140 laps.Pit stops  and  a winnerMartin Truex Winners circle .  Overall a very fun and safe race, but they all have their Ouches .  This was Carl Edwards car, he wrecked at the end of the race.  This was my first real big event with my new camera, there is only so much you can get from behind the fence.  I hope you enjoy them.
