Infrared
I use Photoshop 4 and would like to apply an infrared filter look to some images, but can't figure out how to do it. Anyone have any idea? Thanks very much.

From time to time, I'll aim my camera at the traffic as I drive at night -- just goofing around, not thinking much of it. And then, lo and behold, there's a whole article on the technique in this month's Popular Photography. Who knew?
If you do this yourself, don't do it like I did -- Get a designated driver!

No doubt shots of this building have graced the pages of Photographica before, but the Disney Concert Hall in Downtown LA is so cool, I couldn't resist.
Moving to another part of the world, they're building a church at the end of our street -- this
sunrise is from the other morning. I love the tiny jet trail in the lower left.

Youth rugby is just starting to catch on here in San Diego. One thing's for certain -- it sure is fun to photograph.
I recently met a guy who had just designed the lighting for a church in San Bernardino. He showed me some pictures and, while it was clear that the lighting was cool, the pictures he had were weak. I asked if he minded if I shot a few, and here are two of the better examples.

I finally built a light box in my garage and was playing around with a bunch of stuff with no remarkable shots to speak of. My son, a golfing freak, had some ideas and I thought these turned out pretty cool
For some reason, I love sneaking shots at airports.
