Just a fun day by the river and I had the camera this time.
I normally start my day withSunday Tea Black and White Kitty sat in my rocking chair.
Then my daughter and her best friend went out in the rainUnder the Dots
Well at the kids request we had a party for all the friends at my house New Years !! Ages from 25 down to 13..wall to wall gamers.
Shadows and light #1I know it has been a little while between my posts. I do hope you all enjoy the play of light and formation of shadows in these three shots.
BTW, the stones are a monolith over 20 feet high with a small creek and waterfall, very peaceful.
I drive by this car each afternoon on my way to work, so in desperation and need of a "FIX" as I have not been able to go on a shoot in a while I shot this out my passenger window as I drove by.
Pink Bounce From the day at Turtle Bay Exploration Park. This guy is a world champ at jump rope and does other fun "things" with jumping also.
Hope you all enjoy.

ThisBusy little Bee even looked for some shade.
Home Sweet Home is from one of the inside displays and interactive events.
Beauty could be found all over the gardens.
The event was to promote healthy families so we even had coconut bowling...yes I will have more to show you at a later time.

Taken in late afternoon into the sunlight. I attempted to use the trees to block the sun so I could get the shot of the train as it went over.
Of course all comments and critiques are always welcome.
note: I lightened the thumbnail so you could see what was in the foreground of the moon shot.
I do think I've found some curves?
As the light filtered through the window, I could not help but notice the natural curve of the feathers. So soft and beautiful as the light hit them.
Three days and holding this little one will not leave its post.I figured it wanted to have its picture taken.
For those who might think otherwise...it is alive and well..it moves just a little bit...;o)
Just one simple shot, three different ways. I am leaning towards the sepia which is very strange for me. Please let me know which of these works best. Thanks
Saturday was our yearly event
Just for fun I shot this from the hip
Blues Feet moving(warning...ps'd)
I have to say I filled up my one memory card...didn't think I was going to be taking pictures...dumb move. So not to many shots to choose from. Great day and lots of good music.
My shots of the other bands are well...not worthy.
This was something I wanted to do for Sept.11th but we had so much smoke due to local fires I could not go out and shoot this. Well the wind blew the smoke away today for a bit and I was able to get a few shots(yeah just a few...LOL) Hope you enjoy
