For as long as I can remember, my passion had something to do with remaking the world around me. I started with drawing and sculpture at an early age. I learned how to turn a lump of clay into almost anything I could imagine. As I grew older, I started experimenting with anything I could get my hands on. I constantly strive to improve upon everything and anything I see and do.

I grew up in a rural area south of St. Louis. My mother was an elementary teacher with a creative niche. My father was an Industrial Arts teacher for a local community college. He gave me access to lumber, metals, welding, electronics, mechanics, etc. My Aunt Sue, an art teacher kept me stocked up on supplies and was always running ideas by me to try. Between the three of them, my Art teachers Blake Carroll, Jay Clayton, the rest of my family and friends support I have continued my never-ending experimenting.

Many things have been blown up, taken apart, turned upside down, and broken to get where I am now.

In High School I neglected my artistic inclinations and became active and succesful in sports. After high school I took a summer job in Yellowstone National Park as a waiter. Working, hiking & camping in such a beautiful place changed me forever. I knew after that summer, I would never turn away from my artistic roots

THE CREATIVE PROCESS:  "Ask how then why. Act and evaluate, endure and eventually you will find what you are looking for.

Once you have had the chance to explore and observe some of the world that is out there first hand, reflect and try to look at it all with different perspectives, live life where you enjoy it the most and do what makes you happy.  The rest will follow unless you give up.  Never give up just hear what people are saying.

If you never leave your security net one day you will regret it and you will miss out on much that life has to offer.
