Biography
I took a lot of photos as a hobby for many years, mainly to create an archive to do graphics work... I'm a graphic designer, mainly for outdoor advertising and music posters / CD graphics / t-shirts. For the most part, I currently only shoot photos out of necessity, as the other aspects of my life are very busy, and I don't have much time for leisurely shooting photos. My interest in photography started when I took a photography class in 8th grade, and had an opportunity to learn to use a fully manual 35mm camera, develop my own film, and make my own prints. I've used the same camera for years, but it's collecting dust right now unfortunately...
Artist's Statement
I think that composition and energy are the two most important things in photos. I tend to prefer photos that aren't just one single moment in time, rather have some blurry movement to them, yet some sharp clarity as well.
Camera Equipment
I have my old Pentax 35mm camera that I stole from my dad, I'm not much of a gear head, so I don't know the model # or year, but I think it's late 70's or early 80's...
