    I was born on the top of a mountain on a cold snowy march day.  Its all been downhill from there. (that was a funny...get it...downhill...)  Anyway, I have a wonderful family with 2 kids, and a billyload of pets...Ziggy, Socrates, Gremlin, Snowball, and Wife (I love you Ali!).  I love working with kids and currently teach swimming and snowboarding.  One of these days, I'm going to find the time and money to turn my History and Theatre degrees into another way to reach more children.  The photography studio my wife owns has spurred and provided me the opportunity to play around with photography.  I have always held photography as my favorite art form because more than any other expression, it is impossible to disguise what you have captured.  Although 50 people could walk up to the same place at the same time with the same equipment, no two shots will be alike.  Yet the camera never lies about what is there, it is only transformed by the perception of the artist...hmmm...i may have ventured into the artist's statement, but....

    Someone else has already said it better than I could, so until I get smartier...I'm going to go with them:

    "art is why I get up in the morning
    but my definition ends there
    and it doesn't seem fair
    that I'm living for something
    I can't even define
