I just got back from another trip to the islands. This time it was to close on a piece of property I just purchased on the Big Island. Once, off the plane my first stop is always
On the second day we made our way out to Ka Lae to check out hte southern most point of the US. The
Kamaoa Wind Farm is one the way to Ka Lae. The farm isn't working at this time, but I think they have plans to replace the Mitsubishi Turbines shortly.

I recently bought a house in Hoquiam, WA. It's a cute little house, but needs some work to make it my home. So, I've been spending two days out of the week down working on it. This was the first weekend that I stayed both days. I spent most of the time tearing down plywood walls in the upstairs. I found some interesting things hidden in the walls.

Time comes and goes in the same instant. Sometimes there are moments that get caught within our heads, and remain with us for eternity. I wonder if there is a way to make time stand still? 
It seems like I haven't posted here in ages. I have been working so much that I haven't had much time to photograph anything. I was able to take some time off recently to scout out the Big Island. I happened to be there when Tropical Depression Kenneth was passing through, which made it difficult to get many non rainy photographs.
