What is Your Work-flow?
Here is mine:
I shoot with a Canon 20d
I shoot Raw + a Medium Fine Jpeg Unless I am shooting something I don't think will be "Art " worthy like a Birthday Party or similar in which case I will just shoot Large Fine Jpegs
I keep a Copy of every Jpeg I shoot except for obviously bad ones (Focus, Blank etc). My download folders are by Date and then are put into a larger folder that is numerically ordered and I put just enough files in them to fill a CD for Backup.
If after reviewing the Jpegs and I think I will want to use the RAWs I will download them to the Computer. I then look through all the downloaded RAWs using one of my RAW Programs. I then will make any alterations I think necessary in the RAW stage; Contrast, Color Temp, Sharpening, Saturation, Conversion to Black & White etc. I also Look for the total sharpness of the image at 100% and eliminate ones I don't have great sharpness on.
When I have gone through all the RAWs and Check marked the one's I think I will want to use either print or web. I will then Batch Convert the RAWs to TIFF files for further work or Printing. I convert them at 8 Bit and 300DPI to a New Folder. I usually do not keep any RAW's that I have not converted or think I will use since they take up too much File space.
From there I will usually work in an Imaging Software, Photoshop or Paint shop Pro.
I do any necessary work, Levels, Curves, Color, Cropping etc. One I achieve my desired photo, I save that one as a Photoshop .psd File in my Favorite Photos Folder. These are the photos that I will use for printing to my Ink Jet Printer and archived, annotated and named as my Final Photo. If I am going to use these Photos for the web or e-mail I will usually re-size at 72 dpi and a Size of usually 800 X 600 for a Landscape oriented shot .When I do re-size for the web I will usually re-sharpen the photo. If I want, I will keep a copy of this in a Separate JPEG folder within the Favorite Photo Folder. I use Photoshop's save for Web Function and keep my file size under 150K.
I double or triple Archive my photos. I will Burn all my JPEG's onto CD when I get 650MB or so of files. I back up my RAW's and finished .psd File to DVD, I use all R discs not RW's and I make them Finalized and unappendable for the longest life. I also keep a second copy of all on an External Hard drive and will, until it gets too full, keep the original copy on my Internal Hard drive.
That is basically what I do, what do you do?
Mom's old Kodak A1 Pocket Junior
I would love to take some photos with it if I can only fix this one flaw.
Thanks for your help.

Critique of web site, please
I am a member of this club and created the site design and many of the graphics. I am just wondering what others think of it. The club is happy (or they aren't saying what they don't like) and I guess that is most important.
Any way, Thanks for your time.
This is made from 1/2" plastic pipe. I put this one together larger than most people would need as I was shooting some art for a friend that was 3' X 3' and larger. It stands 6' tall. Go with a size that works for you. On this one I can hang large items on the top bar or small stuff on the lower ones. I went to the dollar store and got a pack of 4 spring loaded "A" clamps to hold the work. You can attach them to the bar with rubber bands. The two clipped on the bottom of the drawing just add a little weight to keep things hanging straight.
Note the two joints marked "Do not glue". If you do it that way you can pull the legs off and the thing will store flat hanging on a wall.
Camera placement is very important. Make sure your lens is centered with the center of the piece you are shooting and that everything is level. If you are using lights other than the flash on your camera you want one on each side of the camera at a 45º angle to the work.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
What is the difference?
Konika Minolta to quit camera and film
First Nikon is stopping, now this?
digital vs film
Is there a way to search Photographica?
P.S. How are the photos for that spot selected?

Some good news from Microsoft
In an updated support lifecycle listing, Microsoft said that all Windows XP products--which include Home, Pro, Embedded, Media Center, and Tablet PC--will enjoy mainstream support for "two years after the next version of this product is released."
So that means the end of 2008!!
