Challenge---Styles (6, 9, 12)
A couple for the Styles Challenge..
#9 close up is one of our early spring display.... and #12 outside was taken at Cades Cove this past Saturday....we saw 86 deer while driving the cove loop (11 miles), have never seen this many deer in one day before, sure was a great day (just driving through Cades Cove is always refreshing even w/o seeing any wildlife--this trip was A+ for me)..
A few more deer--I was in the driver seat and when we came upon a line of 'slow traffic' finally saw the reason why and there was not a pull off in order to stop so this one was taken through the passenger side with window down......I think maybe there were telling us Goodbye.....or maybe Glad You Came to Visit.... Frame ..already had this labled as frame when I look at the least so it is not an internal frame.
after posting and looking at these my close up it is not focused too good and sure thought it was
Have a great day that you have been blessed with........
Is winter over?
so, who really needs a large rodent with big teeth to predict the weather?
he's usually wrong anyway, (and, isn't there always exactly six weeks of winter left every Feb.2nd?)
...and he's always cranky.
'course i'd be cranky too if'n some weirdo plucked me from hibernation an pulled me outta my nice warm burrow and then shoved me in front of spotlights and dozens of cameras with news reporters waving microphones in their hands.
down here on the farm we jus wait'll we see this.
so, at least here, anyways...spring is sprung.
Something that might be of interest
I just completed an individualized photography course from PSA (Photographic Society of America). It took 6 months and involved a whole array of projects with comments from a professional photographer/instructor. The textbook was "Complete Guide to Photography" by John Hedgecoe. The images posted today show what I submitted for the last set of assignments and what the instructor sent back (both an adjusted image and comments). Curious to know if you agree with him and what other adjustments you might suggest. This course has been very helpful.
Bi_weekly Challenge - Scavenger of Styles (8)
8 - Flash My little duckie has a drinking problem; fortunately it's Pepsi
Started out as an entry into the Inside category, and was doing well with just water in the glass. When I changed over to Pepsi, the background got too light. Added a little fill flash and things came back right.
Day 45 of a photo a dayin B&W

Seaside Pavilions - 3
This is the third, last and final post of Seaside beach pavilions...at least until I get another wild hair to go architecture shooting over there. They have some gazebos, too, plus bunches of really cool houses, and the smallest post office I've ever seen. Okay, I may go back and take more pictures, but this is the last for this trip.
Anyway, I love the city of Savannah, ranking it right up there with Charleston and New Orleans, but my least favorite of the eight Seaside beach pavilions is the Savannah Pavilion. I could probably have come up with a better shot of it, but I didn't. I did like the way this shot framed the nearby houses, though.
My absolute favorite of the eight pavilions is the last going west to east, the Tupelo Pavilion.
I like the outside of it, but I like the inside even more. In fact, this is where I shot my avatar.
Lines, lines and more lines. I'm so relaxed from looking at those chairs that I can't even type anymo
