Introduction

Ownership

We have no desire to own your comments, stories and photographs. By uploading a picture, selling a picture or posting a comment here, we take to grant that we and the entirely fictional Mr. Guy Hack of Newark, NJ has the right to display your comments and images on the page on which it was posted by you. It may also be displayed on other pages, in the “random photos” box, and through searches or other means. In addition, a thumbnail of your picture may show up on some syndication services using our RSS feed. Regardless, your content will always and only be here on Photographica, and we have no intention of ever reusing, reprinting, or recreating your comment or photograph else ware.

By posting here, you also grant us the right to remove your comments and photographs if we choose not to want it here. We do not edit comments, photos or stories, except in extreme cases where the photo or content you submitted damages the usability of the site. We also reserve the right to delete offensive photographs, uploaded photographs that do not get posted as stories or put up for sale, or those that are copyright infringements.

By selling or posting here, you lose no copyright control over your words and images and you are not beholden to us in any way shape or form.

We will take no liability for the accuracy of user's comments or photographs, and we reserve no ownership of them whatsoever.

Story Contributions

Unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise, contributing a story here means that you grant us non-exclusive, serial rights to publish it online, at Photographica.Org, and syndicate it through our RSS backend (http://www.photographica.org/backend.rdf). You also grant us the right to edit or remove your story as necessary, though we will take great pains to ensure the meaning remains intact.

You also, by submitting a story here, warrant that it is your original writing, and not plagiarized from any other published source. We are not responsible for checking the accuracy or originality of any submission, nor will we be liable for plagiarism or the truth or lack thereof of any submission.

Image Contributions

By submitting a photograph here, you warrant that it is your original work and is not somebody else’s work. Your submission grants us non-exclusive, serial rights to publish your photograph online at Photographica.org and syndicate it through our RSS backend. Photographica is not responsible for checking the originality of any photograph, nor will we be liable for copyright infringement. Upon notification, Photographica will immediately delete any photograph it deems in violation of copyright law. If the item is for sale and has had previous sales – Photographica will attempt to collect all funds received by the seller.

Seller Policy

By placing an item for sale, you grant Photographica, and its business partners the right to print your photo. Photos will be printed on demand for customer orders only. Photographica will make every effort to insure the photo a customer recives looks as it was indented by the photographer.

Photographica reserves the right to change these policies at any time.
