This morning, the sun comes and goes, there is fog on the hills, and the view is pretty nice to look at...

Downtown Portland

The series was shot using a Canon 20D with a 35-105 canon lens at maximum zoom, f5.6, 1/15th, no filters.  It was done with 36 shots, each shot approximately has 1/2 overlap with the previous shot.  The stitching was done with Autostitch, using linear blending.

It could probably stand to be cropped a bit.  But this shot is all about seeing EVERYTHING...

Enjoy.

  • Interestingly enough, I'm not sure you can see it all. I can't, anyway. So, I uploaded it to my server: http://www.ArrowwoodPhotography.com/special/pano-x600.jpg Warning, it's hosted on a DSL, so it could be slow...

  • That was a great shot. Brought up some memories. I used to work in the Wells Fargo Building. The tallest white one in the picture. I miss Oregon. Thanks for the pic.
