Fremont Bridge in the light of the sunrise

What a beautiful morning!  This morning, when I got to work, I got to the top of the parking structure and looked out over the edge and saw the Fremont Bridge over in North Portland.  

I also saw some the buildings sticking out of the fog.  But all of the other panaramas I took this morning didn't turn out good enough to post.  Sorry.

I did, however, take a time-lapse of the fog dissipating.  I can't wait to put it together into a movie...

    The camera was turned vertically so that I could get as many pixels of height as possible with my hardware (Canon EOS 20D). There were 20 shots taken (with CONSIDERABLE overlap for each one) that were stitched together using Autostitch (http://www.autostitch.net). The result was loaded into Photoshop and I did a Levels adjustment to it. Then I cropped it to be just the way I wanted it. A nice sharpening, and viola!

    Great shot of the Freemont! I really need to get up there and do some shooting one of these days. I think this weekend it will be off to the top of Santiam to shoot some snow stuff.
