I have always been interested in photography, and a few weeks ago I pruchased a Canon XT Rebel. A week after the purchase I went to a camera shop (of course lol) and was on my way home when a Moose came out in front of me on the highway. After Thanking GOD that I did not hit it. I grabbed my camera and chased it down and got this and more pictures. I was 20 feet from this Moose in this picture. I was so excited that I went to the local paper, and they published it on the FRONT PAGE. No photo by name though, but I know it was mine lol I am having so much fun and I want to thank my friend (she knows who she is) for bringing me to this site.

Dude I'm in Gardner!! I heard about you chasing wildlife around!! (kiddin) I did hear about the moose though. Great shot, be careful of the wildlife, seriously, they could end up in the passenger seat of your car. do

Welcome! Congrats on the shot. Take the words of caution w/ the appropriate grain. Yea, it can be dangerous but many of us that would have done the same thing! lol Also, if you've been hanging around here, you know that we are kinda partial to Moose.

We are a moose-lovin' bunch. I've been known to stalk Moose. We also have a fondness for stalkers. The only problem is you are now published....and some of us will get very jealous. Welcome aboard...and happy stalking.

An official welcome to your new addiction. Great post:) If I were you I would not be so careful around the moose as others have suggested... I'd be more careful around the camera shops. Now that can be dangerous!! LOL. Great shootin'... hope to see more soon.
