These are the Italian Alps, the Dolomites. They speak more German than Italian here, as the area used to be part of Austria.
Popup Link the Schlern at dusk - Popup Link again - Popup Link once more - Popup Link and then at dawn!
Popup Link mountain meadow barn - Popup Link fight the urge to yodel - Popup Link a fence for what? - Popup Link one more barn.
The rocks on the barn roofs are to melt the snow quicker.

I'm definitely going to have to talk Aaron into taking me to Italy sometime!!  (hint, hint)  Hopefully we come back from the honeymoon with awesome pics as well.

    I love them!

You have beautiful pictures, but why even put them up for sale if you make it so easy to download and print them right off the internet? Copyright or compress them, do something to make it less tempting to steal!

This chick (jewlz) has an obvious klepto thing going on!  LOL! I mean, what's the obsession with stealing other people's work?  Austin, I've said it to you before, your work should be on the cover of National Geographic.  Absolutely breathtaking.  Keep it up, bro!  And don't listen to other people...I wouldn't change a thing.  You can still sell your stuff without overwhelming the image or drowning it out with large obnoxious words that keep you from being able to enjoy the whole picture.-----Kat

LOL I am not about to steal your work - but I know people who would. Just giving you a head's up or you may actually see your work on National Geographic - with someone else's name attached to it!

Jewlz, the photos are 700x467.  You can barely print a 3x5 at that resolution.

ah, thanks, kwsNI. Thanks to all for the positive comments, but there's a reason why I post at 700x467 72dpi both here and on my own site. I appreciate the concern, folks! And Princess--you would not regret a single moment of Italy! I look forward to your pix as well.

    Austin,
Your name doesn't go unnoticed whenever I'm checking the pages. I really, really love the fence picture. The rail of the fence leads you right to those mountains. Well done!

There is some sense of calm and coolness in these pictures... as if you are standing midst wandering mist. Love the locations. Like the work Austin! Keep going!
