I've been taking the bus to work lately and the bus stop is by the ferry doc so every morning I see the most beautiful sunrises. Popup LinkFerry Boat1 Popup LinkFerry Boat2 Popup LinkFerry Boat3 I also see beautiful birds and scenery (photo-shopped to B&W) Popup LinkPier of Birds And also cool boats! Popup LinkSailboat I welcome any suggestions and help! God bless!

    Thanks for the compliment.  No, it's the ferry dock out in Kingston where I live.  The ferry was pulling in and I snapped the shot.

    You make me miss the Pac. NW. The b/w pier is absolutely great. The b/w is works wonderfully in it. Sailboat is also very pretty. Nice stuff. :]

    The only thing I did to alter the image was add like 2 clicks of cyan and straighten the horizon a tad bit.

    I was about to guess edmonds ferry. I used to stand out on the edmonds side and watch the ferries go back and forth.

    Straightened the horizon??? Are you mad!?! Just kidding...very nice shots, but I love the Birds on the Pier shot best. Very gloomy and quiet.

    Mad... no.  I just don't want 57,000 comments on how my horizon needed straightened.  :)  I have just started photography and haven't nailed down everything yet.

    I really like what you've captured with 'Pier of Birds'.  The fog gives it an ethereal quality - not sure if you're shooting digital or if it's a scan, but a little bit of work on the contrast might give the fog some more body and 'presence'.  Keep on practicing! =)
