My weekend didn't exactly go as planned. I had planned to do some shooting in Williamsburg, but the monsoon put a stop to that. 4" of rain in Wmsburg, 7" at my mother-in-laws house in Hampton. Bummer, not much to do but stay dry and do some shooting around the house.

We did get a visit from some of the wildlife. Mother-in-law feeds them all the time so they are nearly tame. Even got a visit from a Raven  Popup LinkRaven And found a wasp nest next to the garage Popup LinkWasp nest

Caught an afternoon nap and woke up to find a break between storms that allowed me to take a walk to the swamp for a few shots. So, Even though I didn't get what I set out for, I did take advantage of what was presented to me. Hope you enjoyed.

After the storm 7 was my favorite. You could still see the thunderheads off in a distance past the houses

1 & 2 are fab.....I'm suprised Moose is not saying something about the horizon in a couple of the shots...but those turkeys..I still got a deep frier. again..1 & 2 are very well done.

  • Pyro, Paulamouse is using symbolism. The squirrel running symbolizes the terror of the mice who look at this website. (They think of us as cheese-terrorists). The turkeys symbolize photographers as a whole. The mouse is there...you just had to look for it. (By the way, this bs'ing did me well in college lit/english classes.)
