Road Trip - Mile Marker 2,823 - Crater Lake Oregon

Dedicated to Beholden, who encouraged me to stop being the A-Hole on this site and concentrate on the Photography
I will try on the photography but no promises on the a-hole part. Thank you my Bun Nee Pal!

Well, this shoot almost didn't happen. It was the last day of the trip and I was kinda sick and thought maybe I should just go home and as we got up to the lake we were informed that the road was closed due to snow and Ice but we could go to the Lodge. So we went and had lunch and by that time the road was clear. But the snow definitely add to the scenery.
Sorry for so many photos, I like to post 5 or less. But I shot almost 400 this day so it was hard to whittle down.

These are so awsome Moose..if this is part of your being ..then be more of an A-HOLE..because this is wonderful stuff..#4 is my fave..then the dream like shot of #5...but there all great..the moose sign is cool what are the chances...your the man ..and and my muse...if thats the way you spell it..if not your my Hero-Moose, with a camera...thanks

If the other 390 are as excellent as these 10 (which am sure they are) can see why you had a hard time whittling down to just a few to show us. Keep going back to 1 & 4, wondering what was left out in the middle--bet it would be something to see the "surround" in one picture.

Moose, your selections from Crater Lake are excellent and as usual the colors are brilliant. CL5 really stands out though -- with the cloud reflection covering the whole lake, it has a surreal quality that gives it the feel of 3D.

Jesus, Joseph and Mary Moose, those shots are nothing short of fantastic!!! Nice shooting. As for the part about being the site A-hole, don't worry about it and don't change. As my doctor said when I had my sigmoidoscopy (spelling??), "No problem here Paul, you are a "perfect A-hole".

very cool. were these taken with the 10-20mm again. After, seeing your previous set I've decided that I might splurge to get a new 10-20mm lens. Well, also thanks to the birthday money my parents just sent to. ;)

Thanks everyone. Beholden stop crying, your Fruit is running. tyd, half were shot with the 10-20 and the others where shot with my 17-85 IS, since I only had a polarizer to fit that one. What a dope, I was like ahhh I'll never need a Polirizer for the 10 -20 But I would have loved to had it then. So, should I stop here or post more vacation shots?
