Excellent post, Jo. "Wisdom" is very touching, "Work" shows your ever present love for rust, the swans are very sharp and clear, "Autumn color" is almost blinding with it's brightness.

  • The closeups of the swan is striking! Especially the one with the water coming off it's bill.

  • Loved the lighting on Wisdom, very expressive. I think the first swan picture would have benefitted from a wider perspective, so that the swan on the far left and the one on the far right could have been included. But a great series none the less.

Lil isn't that the truth. One out of every 4-5 pics is good. The rest are just blah. It takes alot of pics to get the good ones.

  • I'm feeling some of that pain, lilbit... but as long as you've got digital, fire away!...Believe me, the percentage of shots you're gonna like are the same whether you shoot a hundred or a thousand--actually, the more you shoot the harder it is to pick the good ones...good picks!

Penny? yoo hoo, can't see anyone, turn the light on. jo, throw your floss away this time, I'm tired of finding it under my pillow at night. feeling alone down here, I'll just talk to myself. I personally liked Misty, but my DOF wasn't where I wanted it, camera didn't get what I saw, that's all I'm saying.

  • I really love the S curve in the swans neck in shot 9. It's a great capture and angel. Work is also another good shot. I really like small objects in a pile or group. It always makes for interesting photos. Great job.
