What else don't I know?

I just discovered Kodak's black and white film that can be processed in regular chemicals.  Do you know what that means?  No more long waits for development.  No more extra charges.  I can't believe no one ever told me about this!  These pictures are from my first roll.  I thought they turned out a tad on the greenish side, but still ok.  I used the auto mode for all of them and no cropping, etc.  Popup LinkPouting and Popup Linkreading in the van while we wait for dad.  The baby got a new Popup Linkhairdo.  My husband and his son share a Popup Linkcigar to celebrate the new Popup Linkbaby.

Any other film recommendations for me?

I really love the Kodak B&W film. Our bedroom currently is filled with enlargements I've shot off of it and the quality is just awesome.

Wow, what pixs!!! I love them as always. I really like Reading too. They are a tad green, can you try just doing a Greyscale or color removal in an editor?

i've actually found that the C-41 processing black and white film is often green tinted...but i actually think it adds a little something to these pictures for whatever reason. i really like them! excellent shots.

Are you using the Kodak 400CN film? I think that's the one--it can be processed in color chemicals. I've never tried it, but your results turned out very nice. From what I've heard, the CN film is a lot "friendlier" than some traditional B&W films--although I really like the grain in the Tri-X and HP5 films. It comes down to personal preference and whatever works for you. Nice post!

Your photos are continually mesmorizing... Truly a magnet to the eye and spirit. I love when you post

You've caught very nice moments in time. And the greenish tint is there but doesn't take away. Very nice work.

ilford xp2 is the same way. if you take it to someone that knows what they are doing, they can actually print it on color paper and have it turn out well. Check out my b&w verona pics for evidence. for color, i like fuji velvia and press. i like fuji's blues and greens.

The pouting shot is one of the best pictures posted here in the recent past, IMO! Great job, kristy!!!

I really love the feel to these b/w. Super! And I don't think the tint to them is necessarily bad.

I opened one of the shots in Photoshop and desaturated it, to see what the difference would be--and there isn't much. Actually, the slight tint gives it a more unique look--consider it your style! Great stuff.

I really like pouting. Goos job capturing moments. I'm sure you will figure out how to make them be how you want.

Nice shots! I was trying to think of the Ilford film that is c-41 processable, thanks for jogging the noggin, Amnesiak.

    Spiffy. Love them all. :)

"Pouting" has more of a pensive look to me, but I guess you know. "Hairdo" is cool, and the cigars don't smell bad at all.

THe green tinit appears because your photo lab does not have its processors properly adjusted.
