I was raised in the delta region of Arkansas.  My family grew soybeans, rice and cotton.  Most of the toys my sister and shared were organic.  

I did an awful mean John Denver impersonation.  I enjoyed being on the farm.  

As I grew older, I loved being center stage.  And I was quite the fashionista.  My mom eventually quit taking pictures and made me the family photographer.  

Then came the dark years.  My late teens and early twenties.  I self-medicated myself to memory block.  During this time, my dad had an emergency quadruple-bypass heart surgery.  My mother died of a brain tumor.  I gained a lot of weight, enjoyed too many classes of alcohol...and had a very horrible hangnail.

Over the last few years I lost a dramatic amount of weight, found unconditional love and started taking my happy pills.
