Well..it's been quite awhile since I've posted anything here but I finally got out for some pics today.

I had not shot in this cemetery before despite it's relatively close proximity to home. As always, I found the most interesting subjects in the older sections of the grounds.
The Popup LinkStairway to Heaven made for a very eye-catching black and white image. I upped the contrast on this quite bit. I'd like to know what you all think of what I've done. Here's a wider view of the full stairway.Popup LinkStairway _Fullview. To keep with the b&w theme i've got going here I'll stop for now but I'll post a couple color pics tomorrow.

  • I really like these, especially the first. The contrast really does it to my way of thinking.

I like the first shot. To me it makes you wonder where the stairs go. The B&W is perfect for the shot.

I think the first is very good but I like the second just a hair more..I agree with the wonder of where the stais might be going..but the pay off for me is to see in fact where it leads ..so many cool background images...nice set

Hey..thanks for the tally Chef! Can I vote on my own photo? When I posted I was leaning toward the angled shot but now I'm starting to see the fullview in a different light. Personally I think they are both fantastic.. lol But seriously, thanks to everyone for their favorable comments.
