Gil Is BIG
From this pic you can get an idea of how BIG Gil is as he drinks from a regular sized pop can. He is 35 1/2 inches from tip of beak to end of tail.

He doesn't always Pay Attention

His Jimmy Durante Pose
Ha Cha Cha Cha Cha Jimmy Durante has NOTHING on me. For those to young to know Jimmy Durante was a gravely voiced actor/comedian with a big Proboscis ( nose ). Ha Cha Cha was his catch phrase. Jimmy would sign off every show with "Goodnight Mrs Calabash where ever you are" to his deceased wife -- she called him "Mr. Calabash" ( which is like a big gourd ). I seem to recall he had a top 40 hit with "When I was 17" back in the 70's -- ( look it up on "Limewire" or "Napster" )

He Likes his Beer too
Gil can open up the cans by himself and you can see vid clips of him doing that on "My Profile page's Website' link -- just look for the Gilligan page. Note the BEER IS NON-ALCOHOLIC

The smoking lamp is lit
Gil also gets cigarettes for me ( he doesn't smoke and keeps telling me NOT TO !!!!!!! Gil is very bright for A Blue and Gold - he has a 40 word vocabulary and about 16 phrases such 'What cha doin"
'How Are You"
I's So Pretty Bird"
"I love you"
"I want an apple"
He also quacks like a duck and laughs. He is the best friend a guy could have

That spiked Look
Gil likes that spiked look occasionaly

A bike ride
He likes to ride around the neighborhood on Bill's Shoulder and greet all the neighbors with BIG 'Hello's' and 'How Are You's
