At the conclusion of a summit conference where a long-standing dispute between the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps was debated over draft beer at the Coronado Brewery, an historical settlement was announced.

Two famous veterans pounded out (or drank) the final draft, whereby it was agreed that each side is free, at any time, to claim being the superior force.

My wife and I enjoyed our brief visit with Surferguy, an interesting man and man of many interests. A combat veteran of the Viet Nam war, where he was wounded and decorated for bravery, still surfs every week, an avid photographer, pilot, dog lover, husband, father, and a gentleman. Semper Fi, SG!

Couldn't agree more, glad you were able to get together and enjoy time with each other. And thank you both for service to our country. SG--there is a volunteer where I work who makes me think of you in this picture--hope I have my camera with me the next time he is at the museum--so can show you.
