Some more Music (Country style)

Last night, I helped with the sound for a young country singer by the name of Boomer McClennan. Boomer's got a website at www.BoomerM.com

Boomer's a classy guy, and a terrific performer. I had lots of time on my hands once things got going so I took some photos. I'd love to hear what you think. These are straight from the camera, reduced to 800 pixels wide. No sharpening, etc. (I've not had the time). I shot hand-held, at ISO 1600, with Available light (mostly).

Very good shotting for using 1600. and I agree with Moose ..1483 is sweet and the " whole room " was a nice change.

Boomer looks a little like George W. And tell him, "Never let them see you sweat". Nice group of pictures, very flattering for a singer, you captured it great.

1483 is the keeper, as said above. I like the 2-steppin' that's gonig on in whole room.

Terrific shots--I have to agree with 1483. Great coloring on that one, too. I'm also liking the stage decoration--the set of horns and the little potted plant!

Thanks all for your comments. I agree with the favorite - 1483. Boomer wore a black shirt for his third set! This room is actually a banquet hall that's part of a theatre facility where I spend lots of my time. It's called the Harlyne Norris Pavilion, in Palos Verdes, CA. It's one of those multi-purpose rooms where people have weddings, parties, lectures, etc. Boomer's show was coupled with good ol' Texas style barbecue dinner. It was a nice event. Even for me, a non-country music fan.

1483 was also my favorite. I really do like what dirkbag did with the black and white. Mainly because there was a pink hue to the fellas cheek in the color version and looked like blusher.
