I took the boy and traced him/ then copied him in a new layer..then I croped down the original shot, so as to have the boy over the edge of the shot, pasted himback on the shot without flattening the image....put a border on that shot..but not on the boy...then I layed that on a new layer ..to frame the entire new shot..put a inward shadow on it.. then added another new layer to boarder that effect..then I flattened all the layers and there you have it.

I'm not as good as Moose, to show you exactly how you can do it..but here are some quick steps on an example I just made ..first the original..#1 ..then I selected a portion I wanted to hang out...and of course I had to select and cut areas in side the wheel I wanted not to be in the section of wheel....#2 then I layed it on the newly croped original..which I had already put a stroke.. "outline"..on..#3..then I added an inner glow to that section of black area..added a new layer under it, and flattened it #4 theres a lot of cleaning and adjusting..but this was a quick project.Using PH CS..#8

Close Jo. Except the P is "Pure". I think most military guys will recognize that one. All the hundreds I work with do.

  • I really believe I could do that, but it would take about 26 weeks to accomplish. And, BTW, I'm glad you put your pole away moose.
