Things are moving along well. We managed to get the roof covered with shingles before the first snow fall. Theses are 30 years shingles, more expense but worth it.Popup LinkView one,  Popup Linkview two , Popup Linkview three . We also got down into the new basemant area and had to knock down a section about nine feet wide. We had a guy come in before to cut through the wall with a huge saw, but the corners we had to break apart to knock it down. This is the former Popup Linkoutside wall of the existing house . You can see the cuts on both sides of the window. We have to use a Popup Linkjack hammer to help break throught the Popup Linkwall . We have to break it off at the  Popup Linkbottom of the wall . It hard Popup Linkwork . Finally it falls and we start to Popup Linkbreak it up . This Popup Linkpicture you can see how dusty it is after the wall fell . We had to stop for awhile because we couldn't breathe in there. We finish it tomorrow. Next job is to take down another cement wall on the north side of the house. Later all

Lol, dennis..... Coming right along, huh? I think I would've had to quit, too, after seeing all that dust from the wall! Won't be long now....

  • Thanks everyone. Boy, we planned to have the addition built and the roof finished by the end of Nov. So, everything is ahead of schedule. The electrical is being put in on Thursday. The new addition area and the garage will have their own panel box. Next job is pouring the new cement floor in the basement area. Back soon with more pics.
