Went to get my kids off the bus today and this Popup Linkbee hive is right next to the bus stop!

Pretty interesting!

Whoa! Wait till BusyB sees this one! Her husband "raises" bees, or whatever it's called. Anyway, he steals their honey. Fantastic capture.....glad it was you and not me; don't think I could've done it!

Oh yes, it was reported. I was also very, very quiet and slow to get this pic. All I have is this point and shoot, so you can imagine my hands up in this tree... :) Thanks for the comments! Kim

  • This was a big hive---don't worry about getting stung--as long as you do not bother them, you will be fine. And even when the person is getting the hive to take someplace else, if you know how to handle them, 99.99% of the time you do not get stung. Just thought I would throw that in for you--but now kids sometimes like to think they will not get hurt and might throw things at the hive--be sure your kids know better.
