    red boat gets my vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! san juan islands.... can i just tell you that is my dream. if i could get a job there i would sell my house in a second and move! Can't wait to see more photos!

    My family homesteaded on San Juan Island in the 1840's. My great-grandfather was Sheriff at the turn of the century. My grandfather began commercial fishing in the 1930's and we owned a docking building business from 1950 until 1976. I now live in New Jersey (temporarily). We are moving back to the Pacific Northwest in January. Thanks for the comments on Red Boat...I posted it once before but its splendor was missed :-)
