I pass by Popup Linkthis house every day when I drop off my son at school.  Sometimes I see an old truck in front.  I've always wanted to stop and take Popup Linka picture of it.  Today, I did.  Popup LinkFrank, the owner was eager to tell the story behind his Popup Linkimprovements.  He has been rear ended many times, so he installed a special bumper and extra lights.  When that didn't work, he added the writing.  And the pictures?  They are for the drivers who can't read.

No, he seemed really uncomfortable about having his picture taken. He only let me take one shot and he told me where I could stand and how he should be. I was just happy to get anything.

  • Maybe people are so close to his bumper so they can read the stupit sign he gets rear ended?

Or maybe he isn't a very good driver... He wrote standard on the bottom so that people would know he was driving one. You know, those people who drive standards need a whole lotta room!

I can see it now...."There is a weird outbreak. People from all over are being arrested. They are stalking people they call interesting. The disease is something called...Photographica. More at eleven."

  • Maybe with the "standard" he just rolls back into people and doesn't know it. I think it's funny the "Keep out" sign on his house. Oh yeah, I would go in there.

  • My mom and step dad lived in Hatch, NM. Up the valley among the orchards and chili fields we saw many houses like this one. Many still had hard dirt floors. I still smell the mesquite when I see these pictures! Thanks.

I don't know how to blur it out. The only imaging program I have is Picasa, but I rarely use it. Can I do it with that? How? I usually get my photos on cd from the photoplace and leave it at that.
