I really like your seagull - the one in the thumbnail. I also think the sunsets with the birds in them are really sharp.

  • I am from San Francisco, and I know how hard it is to get a good clear picture without the haze. I love the sunset pics where a seagull in the shots

  • have to agree with the horizon suggestion in some of these shots--if you have Photoshop, open a photo and then press and hold the "Alt (or on the Mac, Apple)" button, and press the single quote key ('). This makes a grid appear over your picture and you can see if your horizon's level...I have to do this with just about every shot I take, so I speak from experience. Then you just tilt the photo, recrop it and you're good to go. Beautiful shots--I too dug the Chinatown shot.

I agree on the horizon, but I do like ship at sunset and sunset 4. Also, the Chinatown pic is great!

  • I agree the horizon is off. I have not put these in photoshop yet. I did not have my tripod so I had to set the camera on a post. thanks for the feed back.

  • Well I took a closer look at the photos and they are not off by much. The Golden Gate bridge has a slant to it. The pillers are straight but the road is on an incline. It is an optical illusion i guess.

  • agreed--I certainly wasn't implying every one of them is provoking seasickness. Just a suggestion--you certainly don't have to straighten them if you don't feel it's worth it.
