In the last year my family had a very large change.  My Grandma passed away.  Our family is a huge very close family.  My Grandma made sure our family got together for EVERYTHING!  And I do mean everything.  When her kids (14 of them), grandkids and great grandkids get together there are over 80 of us.  My Uncle (who still lives in the family farm house) said he was getting a "Charlie Brown" tree.  Well he did!  The funny thing is everyone that noticed the tree just smiled.  As if the change was a part of our new family get togethers.  I don't even think any of the kids thought twice about it.  Everyone is just happy being together.  Then I was just looking around thinking of some of the old things that are still in the house.  When I saw this  childs chair.  When I did I thought of the bi-weekly theme.  I remember sitting in this chair as a child for our family Christmas parties.  The family has grown.  But never apart...only closer.  Then I thought of how many memories I do have from the family farm house.  I know my Grandma sees what her and my Grandpa started and is proudly watching all of us with him as we keep the tradition of being together going.
