The weather has been so dreary here and there just hasn't been anything interesting to shoot, so I started looking back at some of my past pictures.  Summer before last we were traveling the southern route to California.  In the middle of the prairie while crossing Texas we came across this huge cross that had statues around it and gardens.  It was lovely.  We saw the Painted Desert and the Grand Canyon.  In the desert we found some  petrified wood and a sunset in New Mexico.  We spent a week in Mammoth Lakes in California and enjoyed every minute.  On our way home we stopped at The House on the Rock in Wisconsin.  One of my favorite rooms there has this huge carousel with
twirling lights.
